LEGAZPI CITY -- Mining firm Lafayette Philippines Inc. (LPI) will resume operations in the island-town of Rapu-Rapu after a court granted in February its petition for rehabilitation.
Reynulfo Juan, acting regional executive director of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau, said the court also stopped LPI creditors from seizing any piece of LPI property as debt payment.
It prevented LPI from selling any piece of its property. Juan Escandor Jr., Inquirer Southern Luzon
